Parkdale launch Apollo 11 50th Anniversary 9 AM – 12 PM no higher than 1,000 AGL ( FAR101 ) **Approved by Local Fire Chief***

The Fire Chief responsible for the area has given us an approval for the event. Safety is paramount.
We will have a NOTAMs in effect from 9 am to 12 pm for launches for up to 3500 feet AGL. Common sense for those launching will notice that the surrounding trees will limit that height. After 12 pm depending on the weather and winds, we may continue to launch until 2pm but to no higher than 1,000 feet AGL. (FAR 101):Rockets weighing less than one pound and flying on less than 4 ounces of propellant.
This particular day will be in commemoration of the Apollo 11 1969 Moon Landing. Any Apollo or Mercury era rocket that you have, please bring out to launch:-)
